Aftercare
Stay upright for a few hours, skip strenuous exercise for the rest of the day, and do not rub or massage the jaw. Minor swelling or a small bruise is normal and short lived.
Results
The relaxing effect shows within a few days and settles at about two weeks. The slimming change follows as the relaxed muscle changes, and your provider will set expectations for your case at consultation. Results last three to six months.

It is likely a good fit if you:
- are at least 18
- want a slimmer or softer jawline without surgery
- clench or grind and want relief from jaw tension
- are in good physical and mental health, with no medical contraindications
- have realistic expectations about a gradual change
It is not the right treatment if the width you dislike comes from bone rather than muscle. A neuromodulator only changes the muscle, and your provider will tell you at the consultation if what you are seeing is jaw structure instead. In that case jawline filler for balance may be the better conversation.
